- what happened to the Drudge Report app - Apple Community
The Drudge app was deactivated last June If you had it you got updates for a while, but then Drudge stopped sending updates over 6 months ago No one knows officially what happened to it, but, as Matt Drudge has not attacked Apple for censoring him, the most logical answer is that Drudge decided they did not want to pay their development contractor to update it to be compatible with their
- What happened to the Drudge Report App? - Apple Community
Drudge didn't want to go the expense of continuing to pay whatever developer they subcontracted the development to ( can't picture Matt Drudge as a coder) With the site redesign Drudge felt that a separate app was unnecessary And to work with the new site the app would have to be completely redesigned (See the previous bullet)
- Why can’t i access the Drudge Report usin… - Apple Community
Why can’t i access the Drudge Report from Safari? it stopped displaying on my phone months or even a year ago Today it won’t load on either my iPad or my Mac if i use Safari If i use another browser I can access it just fine I have no problems accessing any other site with Safari on any of my devices
- Cant open drudgereport. com - Apple Community
I too have problems opening the Drudge Report site, whether I put quotation marks around the URL or not, when I'm using OS X 10 5 2 When I put quote marks around the URL, I get a message like "404 not found" (quotation marks added by me, not part of the message) But when I DON'T put quote marks around the URL, the page still doesn't open, and I get an entirely different message!! However
- Safari hangs crashes, but only on Drudge … - Apple Community
I don't remember having done anything unusual, but suddenly Safari started "hanging" while attempting to load the Drudge Report page--and only Drudge Report Specifically, the "spinning beach ball" appears and won't go away
- Drudge Report - Apple Community
Drudge Report It has not been available on the App store for quite some time I was "grandfathered" in and have had it on my iPhones and iPad continuously I downloaded the new "Official Drudge Report" and I did not get a new app; I think it just co-opted the old one Everything works just as it did before
- Drudge Report - Apple Community
If it was Apple Matt Drudge would be screaming "censorship" to the world As he's not, it's pretty clear it was a decision by the Drudge site management Probably because they didn't write the app, they hired some 3rd party hack, who wanted too much money to upgrade it to 64 bits as Apple required of all developers
- Drudge report is gone from the app store … - Apple Community
You might discover that the consensus is that Drudge pulled the app, not that Apple removed it If Apple is censoring Drudge, why can you still open Safari and go to the Drudge site?
- Anyone else having trouble getting Drudge… - Apple Community
I don’t frequent the site, but it comes right up just fine in safari on my iPhone and iPad What problem are you having accessing it? The app in the App Store has not been updated in over 2 years, but Apple has nothing to do with that as it’s not their app
- drudge report - Apple Community
