Re: Amsec safes, need advice BF series is built like a commercial safe, poured aggregate between two steel shells While the barrier isn't a security aggregate, I'd trust that method of fire barrier protection over fireboard You also get a 1 2" steel plate in the door construction I'd try waiting if possible

Not as fancy as an Amsec (they also make gun sized tl15, tl30 and the BF BF2s that are between a normal gunsafe and a true safe) but they offer a lot for the coin Sturdy seems good if you opt for the magnum steel upgrade, but their fire insulation is debatable vs the concrete mixes true safes use

I have an AMSEC safe with mechanical dial I've changed the code on my s g dial (6730) before and have a change key (U8) for it Does anyone know if it is the same change key for AMSEC safes and if I could follow the same processes? Or is it different?
