I log into disney plus on google chrome I hover my cursor on the profile on the top right and click on app settings and it tells you under data usage that there are three options: automatic, moderate and save data For automatic it says it streams in the highest quality available up to 4k uhd You should find it now

Disney plus on browsers only outputs in 720p, except for edge i think, they might have 1080p from what i remember, and the windows app is indeed trash I also have a 1440p ultrawide and i was using the chrome extension to fill the screen completely, but because of the resolution it looks like garbage
