- Tips For Buyers And Sellers On Offerup : r offerup - Reddit
A lot of sellers who use Offerup aren't posting their "excpected" price, it's more like a "Hey I'd like to get this, but realize it's Offerup, so willing to take something lower" Not every item seller does this, as some expect to get their listing price for every item, but most will take offers lower than listed (just don't be a dick and try
- Buying cars on OfferUp : r offerup - Reddit
I got my car from OfferUp as well Everything other people mentioned about checking the VIN and Title is good advice I personally took my time to find the right car, comparing the amount of miles and condition of the car to how much they were charging But that may depend if you are looking at specific car and how much time you have
- Does anybody sell anything on offerup anymore? : r offerup - Reddit
OfferUp is literally a thieving platform that fucks sellers out of money I’ve sold several items that I was never paid for The buyers paid the money for the items, but OfferUp will not deposit my money in my fucking bank It’s been nearly 20 days since the last item I sold was received by the buyer, but I have yet to receive my money
- Why sellers on OfferUp don’t respond (these are from my . . . - Reddit
BTW, Offerup is NOT working I ran 150+ tests to bring out Seller Replies and I did not receive ONE REPLY I offered Full price, nice opening conversations, "I'm local to them", etc but NOT ONE REPLIED over 8 months of trying That = Offerup Craigslist, Nextdoor, Marketplace, etc ALL have replies and deals get done in timely manner
- Offerup emailed me a gonift $30 gift card - legit or spamware?
I received an email from OfferUp to my main email box that says I have a $30 credit at GoNift from them I've used the platform for a few years, but these days I almost never open emails at all assuming they are scams
- Is Offerup safe for buyers? : r Flipping - Reddit
Offerup attracts scammy sellers, I was scammed on there once, won't do it again By their rules you have to file a complaint with them within 2 days of receiving the item and sellers have to mark an item as sold to someone before the buyer can leave feedback, so when a seller scams someone they just never mark it sold and you can't leave a review
- How safe is Offerup shipping when it comes to larger purchases?
Personally, I'd stay FAR away from anything shipped via OfferUp, especially high value purchases If you can't do it locally, don't do it OU is riddled with scams and the app's backend support is virtually non-existent In other words, don't do it
- Alternatives to Offerup? : r offerup - Reddit
OfferUp has dramatically gone downhill since the middle of pandemic but dealing with a flood of flakey and
- Beware this shipping scam : r offerup - Reddit
Offerup told me the seller tampered with the shipping label and refunded me when I sent this over to them Strangely enough, the original tracking number generated by offerup still worked and showed the item in transit, but the tracking didn't give a specific address that it was being delivered to Instead, it only said the area code city
- Is OfferUp relatively safe? : r offerup - Reddit
Offerup is cool for finding something in your area and then going there to pick it up or meet somewhere, check it out, then buy it Ebay has better protection and if you want to buy something that's shipping only, I'd use Ebay for that I like ebay a bit better because offerup has alot of fees and takes time to deposit your money
