The hurdle for most people with it is getting your basemaps of choice But the three options I listed above are available Once you clear that hurdle, it is the my favorite GPS Application That said, if you have a GPS, an OnXMaps chip is the best product out there In terms of smart phone apps, I would take Avenza over OnX

Honestly, the imagery I see on onxmaps looks identical to google earth recently By identical, I mean I found elk in two different spots and they were on both Google Earth and onxmaps I would check to see if Google Earth looks the same and then look at the imagery date on there

Was wondering if there is a way to view OnXmap chip data in google earth? I have the MT chip for my garmin Trying to do some e-scouting for my trip in Nov and I've found some good looking areas They are close to private but I just cant tell for sure Any ideas would be helpful
