Just keep in mind there are a few different Weber 12F150s, depending on the cone used Then usually these have a suffix letter denoting this E g the W cone is the twangy cone (but seems discontinued), the S the mid 1960s cone, the O the smooth, straight sided cone, the T the Deluxe cone, the A the Twin cone etc

In fact it looks the same to me, maybe because they’re built by Weber Pulp cone (my fave) vs seamed paper cone I’ve used both versions of the Weber speaker and prefer the pulp cone Not as bright, not as flubby If you’re looking for more breakup, maybe take a look at the Weber 12A125-O with a smooth cone

Re: Weber 12F150 Well, after listening to the Weber for a week, I got out the screwdriver and pliers and put the Jensen back in A nice clean sound with no artifacts, or grit or honk or whatever you want to call it The Weber has that overdriven sound going for it, and if that's what you are seeking, there you go

I have had the Weber Blue Pup AlNiCos and have a Weber Blue Pup ceramic and Weber Silver Ten Ceramic now All are somewhat similar I like the Blue Pup ceramic the most Vintage Celestion G10L-35s and G10S-50s are great too and can usually be found in great working condition for about $50 00

RCA tubes and noticed that there is a different speaker than what's being shown on the Fender website It's still a Weber speaker, but looks to have a more period correct design It looks similar to the Signature series Weber speakers, but I was under the impression that the 8" Signature speakers do not fit in the tweed champs
