In main campus you can have access to physical library, attend face to face lectures from the professors which I think is the real gem Tht we cant do And if you are doing tha UoL degree with some local institution as a third party providing teaching resources and the teacher is shit well good luck with that My econ teacher was utterly rubbish

The UOL exams and classes are no longer online from this year onwards (2023 Aug batch onwards) Overall still a very good degree to get if you get a 1:1 or 2:1 but you have to work hard and be consistent

In the case of UoL, it you do their economics course well in the first year, you may have the chance to transfer to LSE for the remaining years according online information on UoL Degree is a degree, online or on-campus and frankly, doing well anywhere seems to an indicator of a skill

UoL isn't particularly revered as a University but it's not bad either However UCL is a top university and the course is a UoL degree delivered by UCL - make of that what you will I'm glad I did it, I don't think it adds much technically but it was interesting and adds to my CV profile when applying for senior roles

Agreed local unis are much better but SIM-UOL gives u a basic and decent degree when you are unable to enter local u Ultimately, it is about how you make use of the degree Just focus on getting good grades if u choose to go to SIM and go for as many internships as you can + a master’s from local u or other better international unis does

Hi, I am a postgraduate candidate joining UoL in January 2024 and looking for a cheaper accomodation near University of Leicester On amberstudent I found Marquis Place which is around 100p week (ensuite and bills included), and it's a 10 min walk to university The only downside is that it has a 52 week contract
