Re: Reverb by Lane Gray » 25 Oct 2025 5:19 am Given that I don't personally like the sound of the Peavey reverb circuit, I like that idea a LOT better When I run my Peaveys instead of the Milkman or my Seafoam green twin, I bring along an outside Reverb If you hang out with the bluegrass crowd on the island, tell Caroline Wright I said hello
- Good steel reverb recommendations anyone? - The Steel Guitar Forum
A good pedal steel sound needs an exceptionally good reverb on it when called for, especially in the upper registers I've tried a couple of Alesis digital versions and am underwhelmed Anyone have recommendations on a good reverb, preferably with a pedal switch on it? I'm pretty new at this, so any advice is appreciated Thanks!! Erv Niehaus Posts: 27127 Joined: 10 Aug 2001 12:01 am Location
- delay reverb for lap steel amp - The Steel Guitar Forum
posted 14 June 2004 02:48 AM profile send email edit Do any non pedalers have a reverb delay unit they can recommend for lap and console steel ? I tried plugging an Alesis Nanoverb into the effects loop of my Peavy Classic 30 to add a dash of delay or plate reverb The effect (s) sounds great, but just plugging the unit in, even with the wet mix knob turned totally off, really thins the sound

- Talk to me about Reverb Tanks - The Steel Guitar Forum
It's not whether a reverb circuit uses tubes or transistors It's the type of circuit, specifically the impedances that the circuit is designed for For example, the classic Fender amps use a tube reverb driver feeding a small audio transformer to provide a low-impedance output, and the tank has a low-impedance input to match
- Fender Silverface Princeton v SF Princeton Reverb - Steel Guitar Forum
The Princeton Reverb is the smallest Fender tube amp with both reverb and tremelo Light, highly portable, great sound, for many it is their "desert island" amp
