Re: Digital Federal Credit Union and First Tech Federal Credit Union Announce Intent to Merge In reading between the lines this "merge" appears to be more like an assimilation of DCU by First Tech with governance by DCU's charter, not unlike what PenFed did when they took over Progressive whose charter allowed them to remove georestrictions

This is another credit union that I saw several years back and was pining for their credit products (First Tech) but figured out what posters in this thread already stated and I just moved on Also, found other financials that had credit products closer to my spend pattern Glad I left the "sleeping dog lay"

First Tech has gone downhill since they merged with Addison Avenue Also, for a credit union called First Tech, they seem to be woefully behind when it comes to rolling out new banking technologies I left Washington Mutual (right before the financial crisis) and joined FTCU since I work at the original company (Tektronix) that it serves
