NeurIPS 2023 paper acceptance results are supposed to be released at 8 pm (CDT) on September 21 I thought to create a discussion thread for us to countdown and discuss any celebration issue complaint feedback or anything else

However, at least in my head, NeurIPS is still the better, more prestigious conference (as is ICML) As a result, if I had a super-duper-hyper-cool result and there wasn't any chance of being scooped, I'd still submit it to NeurIPS, maybe to ICML, but probably not ICLR But that might as well be a personal choice and completely be in my head
