Good to know I'm in a weird spot, KMOV is directly east of me, and the rest are North, so I didn't know if I need to go to the attic and re-aim my antenna I wish I had one of those rooftop antenna rotators that used to be popular in the 1980s :)

KMOV, the same new source that reports any and all gun shots within 3 miles of downtown as "near Busch Stadium" This is actually a huge pet peeve of mine about local TV news in STL If something happens south of Delmar, they'll generally give the neighborhood name- unless it's violence, then it's often "near" a landmark

That was a thought that I had too -- as there is a lot of 'red' in Fox News' look though even there, it doesn't go quite that overboard Or that it's a not-so-subtle nod to the possible political leanings of KMOV's parent company Grey which recently took over ownership of the station

I don't think anyone outside KMOV will ever truly know, but I'm going to venture a guess and say it was on the prompter With his pace there, either he was really quick at mentally changing the script, or he was reading what he saw, potentially without looking ahead at the rest of the phrase first

Just took a peek at their website and didn't see anything, but maybe I didn't look hard enough But this OP reminded me of how KMOV has lost a couple of their on-screen personalities to traffic accidents over the years The first was Steve Trenkmann who was killed in a horrible crash on I-40 way back in the early eighties
