I believe the thing that makes Brawl kinda living as a format on Arena is the commander deck weighing used in that queue And that obviously goes against ranked competitive system Brawl is a casual format (like Commander)

Making it ranked would require removing one of the main reasons that make Brawl the most fun commander tiers To make a competitive mode, you'd have to find matches based on rank and not on which commander is being played, at which point everyone would just play the most sweaty top-tier commanders in order to get the win

Brawl needs a ranked mode for those who want to win all the time and a "play" mode to try to catch more of the casual players Additionally, there needs to be a bot mode so people can test experiment with their decks without having to join a match and get destroyed by someone on turn 4

If every card on MTG Arena had a power rating as you put it into your Brawl deck, fine-tuning a deck would be significantly easier Whether you wanted to increase or decrease the power of your deck, doing so would be a breeze

I understand the only reasons there is no ranked brawl is because its not enticing financially for wotc and would probably add another rank (unless merged with constructed??) BUT COMON MAN Every good game ends too early due to the lack of rewards

A ranked brawl would definitely help separate competitive play from casual fun, giving players a chance to enjoy experimenting with their own decks It’s tough when everyone’s just using meta decks, and you can’t test your creations properly
