For me R60 barely works On paper R60 are superior but in reality you can use it only from rear and they can be easily countered by flares R3R I use in headons in 10km altitude with superior flying speed, there is almost no way to dodge it except when enemy use chaffs So for me R3R gives at least one guaranteed kill each match

R3R, radar lock target (2 rings need to be full red) with a little more fuel but otherwise identical to the R3S I Iike it more since the increased range means you can hit people at unexpected range Being a radar missile it can also lock from the nose so its a viable head on weapon

The missiles on the MiG-19PT and early Russian supersonics, right? The tip is to not count on them They pretty much only hit people who are going slow and relatively straight, and don't have flares, or slow and straight and not paying attention They're really more of a tool to force enemies to maneuver

The R3R is a “SARH” missile which stands for Semi-Active Radar Homing The missile will only track while you maintain a lock with your plane’s radar Make sure to watch some YouTube videos on using radar and radar modes in War Thunder The YouTuber “Tim’s Variety” has some well explained videos on this I would highly recommend you
